Thursday, December 5th, 2019 -- The DI and DII Men's and Women's NCAA college tournaments are coming down to the later stages with 15 Arizona players alive and vying for a chance to lift a national title.
At the beginning of the tournament for the DI, DII, and DIII men and women, there were a total of 80 players - 32 DI Women, 12 DI Men, 13 DII Women, 2 DII Men, 14 DIII Women, and 7 DIII Men.
The action kicks off on Thursday night with five Arizona players in the DII Women's third round for Dixie St. and Point Loma. If the teams with the Arizona players win, they will face each other in the DII Women's quarterfinals on December 7th or 8th. Also on the DII Men's side, Maryville plays on Friday night and if they win they will play in the DII Men's quarterfinals on December 7th or 8th.
The remaining eight players are in the DI tournament with two on the women's side and six on the men's side.
Good luck to all the former Arizona Soccer Association players who will be in action this weekend.
