Wednesday, January 31st, 2018 -- Region IV ODP released its best 18 players from each age group and the state of Arizona was well represented with 25 combined boys and girls players being named.

It should come as no surprise as Arizona's ODP program enjoyed great success at the 2018 ODP West Championships in early January. Seven teams won their groups (03 Girls, 02 Girls, 02 Boys, 02 WC Boys, 03 Boys, 04 Boys, and 05 Boys) and the state went a combined 26 (W) - 7 (L) - 17 (D). They state also scored a combined 133 goals and conceded 49.
Two Arizona teams advanced to the finals with the 03 Boys emerged as champions for the second time in three years following their victory over Utah on penalties. The 02 Boys finished runner-up after falling to Cal South on penalties.
