ACTION REQUIRED - City of Phoenix Field Closure - Call to Action

As most are aware the City of Phoenix City Council closed all City of Phoenix fields last December. This action has significantly impacted the soccer community, our clubs, and the overall community and at this time enough is enough it’s time to open the field NOW!!! It is now time to put far more pressure on the City Council to open the fields immediately!!! The call to action for every person is to call every Councilmember EVERY DAY (including weekends) and DEMAND that they take action and open the fields immediately!!!

It is time that we take charge, put the appropriate pressure, and become more aggressive in DEMANDING better from the city leadership. And if they choose to not address this issue appropriately then we must remember these politicians at the next election.

Currently the City of Phoenix is allowing the Suns to have fans in their arena. They are allowing Spring Training to have fans. They have allowed significant events, with little oversight to continue to take place in West Phoenix, in Vice Mayor Guardado’s district. Remember it was Vice Mayor Guardado that made the motion to close all fields but has done nothing to address the hypocrisy in her own district.

As a community let’s unite and call until we can call no more. Call and Email on Saturday. Call and Email on Sunday. Call and Email on Monday. Call and Email until you can call and email no more!!!! Here is the contact information for the Phoenix City Council:
