Arizona Soccer Association Job Opportunity: Soccer Instructor

Arizona Soccer Association is looking for energetic, personable, and hardworking Soccer Instructors. As an Soccer Instructor of ASA you will be responsible for implanting soccer programs as part of our community outreach programs. 

The goal of the ASA Community outreach program is to teach soccer fundamentals and learning the game in the most enjoyable way possible and to create a safe and fun environment for all participants. Instructors must be available weekday evenings for two to tree hours. Instructors will be working with athletes between the ages of 6-13 years old. 

The compensation for this position is based on experience.

Duties/Responsibilities for the Soccer Instructor:

  • Assist with the set-up/take-down of the fields at the venue (putting up goals, corner flags and laying out cones)
  • Organize, plan and run practices/games for a specific team and/or group of teams/players
  • Communicate weekly with Director of Player Development and Program Directors
  • Assist with the officiating/coaching of the games
  • Teach both skills and sportsmanship values while assuring a fun program for participants

Requirements:

  • Must be Reliable, professional and responsive.
  • Must be Outgoing, Friendly, Energetic and Enthusiastic
  • Must be Warm, Empathetic, Patient and Consistent
  • Must have in-depth knowledge of Soccer and have coached for a minimum of 1 year.
  • Must have superior communication skills
  • Must have reliable transportation, cell phone & web/email access
  • Candidate will need to pass a Background Check
  • Must be willing to work in Glendale, North Phoenix, North Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, Avondale, Tempe or Ahwatukee
