Friday, August 30th, 2019 -- Arizona's Brooke Denesik has been named to the U-23 Women's National Team.

The team is currently in England competing in the Nordic Tournament which kicked off on Wednesday with a 2-0 win for the U.S. over Norway. The U.S. will face England on Friday and Sweden on Monday. 

Denesik currently plays professionally for Biike Kazygurt in Shymkent, Kazakhstan, and she just helped her team advance to the Round of 32 in the 2019-20 UEFA Women's Champions League. The next Women's Champions League match for Denesik will be on September 12 against Anderlecht.
