Arizona's Kelsey Turnbow in DI Women's Title Match

PHOENIX -- Arizona's Kelsey Turnbow (Scottsdale) and Santa Clara take on Florida State in the DI women's soccer championship game on Monday night at 5:30 p.m. on ESPN2. 

Turnbow, who was selected 18th overall by the Chicago Red Stars in the 2021 NWSL Draft, would become the 6th Arizona native to win a NCAA DI title since 2012.  In this year's tournament, Turnbow has scored two goals in four matches. 

  • Karel Bradford (Chandler) in 2012 with Indiana 
  • Riggs Lennon (Paradise Valley) in 2014 with Virginia 
  • Cassie Miller (Cave Creek) in 2014 with Florida State 
  • Adam Mosharrafa (Paradise Valley) in 2015, 2016, and 2017 with Stanford
  • Emily Chiao (Phoenix) in 2019 with Stanford
