Wednesday, January 10th, 2018 -- Arizona's Kelsey Turnbow has been named to the 20-player roster for the upcoming 2018 CONCACAF Women's U-20 Championship which will be held in Trinidad & Tobago from January 18-28.

Kelsey, who played locally for SC del Sol and attended Pinnacle High School, just wrapped up a very successful freshman year at Santa Clara. In 23 matches, she scored 13 goals and added five assists. Turnbow also scored the match-winning goal for Santa Clara against California in the NCAA Tournament First Round.

The 2018 CONCACAF Women's U-20 Championship will feature eight nations divided into two groups of four teams. The top two finishers in each group will qualify for the semifinals, with the winners of those matches along with the winner of the third-place match earning berths to the 2018 U-20 Women's World Cup in France.

The U.S. will open the tournament on January 19 against Nicaragua. They will then face Jamaica on January 21 before wrapping up group play against Mexico on January 23. Trinidad & Tobago, Canada, Costa Rica, and Haiti are in the other group. The U.S. has won four consecutive CONCACAF championships.
