
Friday, June 8th, 2018 -- It's all becoming an all Arizona thing in Toronto as the Toronto FC organization has announced the hiring of Michael Rabasca as the new head coach of their USL affiliate, Toronto FC II.
Toronto FC now has two Arizona coaches leading their teams as Greg Vanney (Marcos de Niza High School) is in his firth year managing Toronto FC's first team.
TFC II is currently 0-2-10 and the first game for Rabasca will be this Saturday against Penn FC at 4:00 p.m. local time.
Locally, Rabasca coached at the club level, coached at the Real Salt Lake Academy in Casa Grande, and guided Desert Vista High School to three state championships (2002, 2005, 2006).
Rabasca originally joined Toronto FC in 2014 to develop their High Performance Department which assists their first team, TFC II, and Academy teams. He joined the first team on August 31, 2014 after previously working with the Toronto FC Academy at the start of the 2014 season.
Rabasca and Vanney both coached at the Real Salt Lake Academy in Casa Grande.
