PHOENIX (Wednesday, December 16th, 2020) -- The Arizona Soccer Association (ASA) is, unfortunately, having to cancel the 2020 Whataburger Winter Academy Festival.

Over the past week, ASA has continued to work with the City of Scottsdale to ensure that all players and spectators would be able to participate safely and in accordance with the City of Scottsdale’s requirements. Over the past few days, those requirements have changed multiple times to a point that the 2020 Whataburger Winter Academy Festival would require teams to play as early as 4:00 pm on Friday and as late as 10:00 pm on Saturday.

ASA felt that we couldn't provide the spirit and experience that our players, coaches, referees, and families expect.

We are sorry for the late notice but know the ASA staff has exhausted all possibilities to deliver a positive experience.

All teams will receive a full refund which will be processed no later than Friday, December 18, 2020. ASA and its staff would like to thank everyone for their support throughout the season and wishes you a Happy Holidays.
