The Arizona Soccer Association is sad to report the passing of Tom McConkey. Our thoughts and prayers and with Tom's family and friends during this difficult time.
Tom had been a member of the Arizona Soccer Community for more than 30 years. He been involved in every aspect of soccer in Arizona to include running a myriad of tournaments, leading the Valley Youth Soccer League (VYSL), bringing women’s semi-professional soccer to the valley (Arizona Heatwave), to leading many youth soccer Clubs.
He leaves his wife Chris, son’s Thomas and John, daughter Jill, and six grandchildren He will be deeply missed by family, friends, and those who have worked alongside him to help grow the game in our state.
