As we comply with the CDC and state orders by staying indoors and distant from Social gatherings, our Community and Partners are still finding ways to help those in need and those at risk. ASA is proud to partner with multiple groups that are helping the state of Arizona and the surrounding areas.

Banner Health has created a Covid-19 resource center that varies from important information about the virus and how to prevent it’s spread with great practices to getting tested. Find Banner’s resource center here.

Boys and Girls Clubs

Boys & Girls Clubs of the Valley is opening local Clubs impacted areas during school hours to serve members and the greater community. Find those locations at bgcmp.org.

UnitedHealthcare

UHC is waiving member cost-sharing for the treatment of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) through May 31, 2020 for Medicare Advantage and Medicaid members. They have also made efforts to waive other costs and create other resources. Please visit this link for more information. 

Lerner and Rowe

Lerner and Rowe’s offices are currently open for business during regular scheduled business hours. They are using disinfectants, sanitizers, and encouraging social distancing. They have also put together a list of government and educational resources located in those areas.

Whataburger

While dining rooms are currently closed, drive-thru and curbside delivery options are open for customers 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Curbside delivery is available for your online order between the hours of 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. at any of our restaurants. After 8 p.m., you can coast through the drive-thru to pick up online orders.

Medieval Times

Equality Health is rolling out a telehealth solution, connectivity and technical support services at no cost to more than 1,300 Arizona-based primary care providers in the network to help them ‘virtually’ triage sick patients and provide ongoing care to their entire patient population. This is ideal for at risk individuals due to underlying health conditions or those who struggle with access to care due to lack of transportation or other barriers. Arizona 2-1-1

Arizonans can now dial 211 to get basic information about how to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, a free service launched with the Crisis Response Network.

The number normally is a hotline for people who need things such as emergency shelter, access to food or help with utilities and other services, but information on the new coronavirus has been added to help people understand how to prevent spreading the illness, also called COVID-19.

The line will operate from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. It is reached simply by dialing 211 while in Arizona.

The line responds to calls in English and Spanish and addresses:

  • How to prepare for and prevent COVID-19 spread.
  • Testing information for COVID-19.
  • What populations are at higher risk from the COVID-19.
  • What to do if an individual gets sick.
  • COVID-19 and animals.
  • A list of websites with accurate, reliable and up-to-date information.
