Monday, October 8th, 2019 -- The Arizona Soccer Association is pleased to announce that Hector Duran has been elected as the new District VI Commissioner (Kingman/Lake Havasu)

 

Duran has been involved with soccer in the state of Arizona since the late 1980's previously serving on the Arizona Soccer Association Board of Directors from 1988-2003. Duran has also been instrumental in the development of many soccer leagues - La Paz Youth Soccer League, Colorado River Cities Soccer League, and Colorado River Amateur Soccer League.

 

In addition to Duran's work on the club side of soccer, he also implemented soccer into Parker High School in 1998. His team went undefeated in 1998 and won the 3A Conference championship. In 2002, Parker High School won the 3A State Championship.
