Ertz & McDonald Set For Today's Opening World Cup Match


Tuesday, June 11th, 2019 -- The U.S. Women's National Team is set to kick off the 2019 World Cup against Thailand today with Arizona natives Julie Ertz and Jessica McDonald vying to help the U.S. win its fourth World Cup title. Today's match will be aired of FOX at 12:00PM PT. 

Ertz and McDonald are both Arizona Soccer Association alumni and Ertz participated in the ASA ODP program. This is the first World Cup for McDonald and the second for Ertz who won in 2015. 
Following today's match, the U.S. will take on Chile on Sunday then Sweden on June 20.
