After wrapping up another successful Arizona Soccer Association Presidents Cup Tournament. We want to take the time to thank all the teams that participated in this year's tournament and also take a closer look at the champions in each age group that will be competing in the US Youth Soccer Farwest Presidents Cup Regional tournament that will take place in Phoenix, AZ June 15-19.
Girls
Arizona Arsenal SC 09 Teal 1

Arizona Arsenal SC 09 Teal 1 shocked the world at Presidents cup. With a final record of 1-0-3, the teams 2-0 win on the final group stage day was enough to secure a finals appearance for the Arizona Arsenal SC 09 Teal 1 Girls. In the finals, they came out victorious with a final score of 4-2 over Phoenix Rising Scottsdale 09G Lee and are headed to Presidents Cup regionals in June.
Phoenix Premier FC 08G Black

Phoenix Premier FC 08G Black were unstoppable in front of goal at this year's Presidents cup scoring a total of 15 goals in 5 games. An undefeated group stage saw them win two and draw the final group stage game 3-3 against the eventual runners up Excel Soccer Academy 08G. Their semifinals game was a convincing 4-0 victory to set themselves up for a closely contested final against group stage familiars Excel in which Phoenix Premier FC 08G Black prevailed 2-1 and booked their ticket at Presidents Cup regionals.
RSL-AZ North 07 Girls Soutar

RSL-AZ North 07 Girls Soutar were a force to be reckoned with at this year’s Presidents Cup. They finished undefeated with two wins and two draws to top group A in the U15 Girls Gold Division. While the RSL-AZ North 07 Soutar Girls only scored 4 in their group stage efforts they really stepped on the gas in the semi finals. A 3-2 win saw them get a rematch against AYSO United G2007 (WILKES), a team in which they tied 1-1 during the group stages. In the second game, they kept a shutout and ultimately booked their ticket to the Presidents Cup regional tournament with a 2-0 win.
Phoenix Premier FC 06 G NW Black
Phoenix Premier FC 06 G NW Black fought hard for their spot in presidents cup regionals. While finishing second in Group A, they finished with more points than the other 1st seeds from group B and Group C which proved they meant business. The Phoenix Premier FC 06 G NW Black Girls scored an outstanding 13 goals in the group stage while only giving up 4 the other way. In the Semi finals, a high scoring 5-4 win propelled the girls into the final where they came back from 0-2 to win against East Valley/NSFC 06 Girls Blue with a final score of 4-2.
Phoenix Rising Desert Foothills 05G Mcculloch

The Phoenix Rising Desert Foothills 05G McCulloch Girls were impressive in this year's Presidents Cup. A 4-1 victory kick started their campaign, which was then followed by a more humble 2-2 draw. On the final group stage day, Phoenix Rising Desert Foothills 05G McCulloch got back to winning ways and secured the 1st seed in their group by defeating RSL-AZ North 05 Girls McClements 3-1. However, These two teams would meet again in the Presidents Cup final where Phoenix Rising Desert Foothills 05G McCulloch would remain on top and secure their place at presidents cup regionals with a 2-0 shutout win.
AZFC Select 04G Rowe
AZFC Select 04G Rowe produced a dominant performance in this year's Presidents cup. AZFC finished undefeated in the group stage, only conceding two goals which came in their opening match. Following the group stages, a back and forth semi final saw them ultimately advance to the Presidents cup final with a 2-1 win. In the final, AZFC Select 04G Rowe kept a clean sheet against the top seed in group A East Valley/NSFC 04 Girls Blue and booked their spot at Presidents Cup regionals.
RSL-AZ North 2003 Girls Kelly
RSL-AZ North 2003 Girls Kelly were invited to the Presidents Cup regional tournament as wildcards after finishing as runners up in the U19 Girls Gold Division.
SASC 03/04 Fusion Cardinals

SASC 03/04 Fusion Cardinals finished 2nd in the U19 Girls ASL1 division. Heading into a three team Presidents cup group, they finished first in their group going undefeated in two games. Their first game was a tightly contested 2-1 victory over RSL-AZ North 2003 Girls Kelly, the eventual runners up in the tournament. Their second win was a much more comfortable 5-2, as they booked their spot in the President Cup Gold Final. After winning their final, SASC 03/04 Fusion Cardinals finished the tournament with a positive 5 goal difference and a trip to Presidents Cup regionals.
