Wednesday, January 15, 2020 -- The Arizona Soccer Association made coaching education a top priority in 2019 for all members throughout the state and there were more than 270 U.S. Soccer coaching licenses handed out.
The breakdown is as follows. 67 coaches earned their 7v7 License, 41 earned their 9v9 License, 97 earned their 11v11 License, 52 earned their D License, and 17 earned their C License. Additionally, five coaches earned their TOPSoccer coaching certification.
Another outstanding development from the past year is where all the coaching courses were held. Nine were held in Phoenix, three in Sahuarita, two in Oro Valley, Yuma, and Prescott Valley, and one in Lake Havasu, Maricopa, and Mesa.
