Thursday, December 14, 2017 -- Three Arizona players were named to the 2017 ODP Interregional All-Star Teams. Scottsdale Blackhawks' Emily Chiao was named to the 2000/2001 All-Star Team and Scottsdale Blackhawks' Blake Bernal was named to the 2004 All-Star Team, and SC del Sol's Nick Bourgeois was named to the 2001 All-Star Team.
Emily's 2000/2001 team went 1-1-1, good for second in their group. She also notched an assist in the second match. Bernal's squad also went 1-1-1 and finished second in their group. Blake scored two goals. The first against the South and the second was against the Midwest. Nick's team won their group with a 2-1 record. He also scored a goal in the West's match against the South team and notched one assist.
The girls event took place November 19-14 at the Spanish River Athletic Park in Boca Raton, Florida. The younger boys event was held at the Grande Sports World from November 23-27 and the older boys was held at Lakewood Ranch High School in Bradenton, Florida, from November 29-3.
