ODP Recap (Friday): Arizona Teams Enjoy Great Success



Friday, January 5, 2018 -- It was a banner day for the Arizona ODP Boys and Girls teams as they won a combined 12 out of 17 matches while outscoring opponents 62-13. The leading goal scorer for the girls is Mollie Griswold with four and on the boys side it is Adrian Burrel-Valenzuela with three.

Group leaders for the girls include the 02 squad, who was the lone girls team to win both matches, and the 03 squad, who won their first match before playing to a draw in the second. The 05, 04, and 01 age groups each won a game and suffered a loss in the other. In a combined 10 matches, the girls won six and scored 36 goals.
The 02 Girls scored an Arizona high 10 goals in their second match. Individual goal scorers for the girls include:

Group leaders for the boys include the 05, 04, 03 WC, 02, 02 WC, and 01 teams. Each team won their lone match on Friday. The 03 team is second in their group after winning their first match and playing to a draw in the second. In a combined seven matches, the boys won six and scored 26 goals while conceding just one goal. 
The 05 Boys and 02 Boys were the goal scoring team leaders for the boys with eight goals in their matches. Individual goal scores for the boys include:
