Sunday, January 7, 2018 -- The AZ 03 and AZ 02 Boys Arizona ODP Teams are heading to the 2018 US Youth Soccer ODP West Championships finals following wins in the semifinals on Sunday morning.
The AZ 02 Boys will play first at 9:30 a.m. against Cal South on field 4. The AZ 03 Boys team will face Utah 03 Boys at 11:20 a.m. on field 3. AYSA will be proving full coverage of both matches. Be sure to follow us on social media:

The AZ 02 Boys advanced to the finals following their 3-0 win over AZ WC 02 Boys. Ruben Osorio recorded a first half brace and Cameron Chambers scored a lone goal. The 03 Boys advanced thanks to a strong second half showing. Ethan Pham scored the first goal and Jaxon Reinhardt converted a late penalty.
Six other Arizona ODP teams were in semifinals action. The 01 Boys suffered a 5-3 OT loss to Utah 01 Boys, AZ WC 02 Boys lost to their counterpart 02 Boys, the 04 Boys scored late but still lost to Cal South 2-1, the 05 Boys suffered a 3-0 loss to Cal South, the 02 Girls, and the 03 Girls both suffered 1-0 losses to teams from Washington.
