PHOENIX (Tuesday, November 3, 2020) -- Gregg Berhalter, U.S. Men's National Team head coach, named a 24-player roster for a pair of upcoming friendlies in Europe and Phoenix native Richie Ledezma was among those named to the squad.
The USMNT will face Wales in Swansea on November 12th and Panama on November 16 in Wierner Neustat, Austria.
This is the first senior team call-up for Ledezma. At the youth levels, Ledezma appeared in two matches at the 2019 FIFA U-20 World Cup, providing an assist in a Round of 16 victory over France. The call-up comes off the heels of another milestone for Ledezma as he made his PSV debut in the 74th minute of a 4-0 win on November 1. In the match he assisted on PSV's third goal in the 84th minute.
Ledezma, a former ASA ODP player, has spent the last two seasons playing for PSV's reserve squad scoring 6 goals in 32 matches.
