PHOENIX (Wednesday, March 3, 2021) -- Tucson will be playing host to 16 preseason soccer matches from teams competing in Major League Soccer, USL Championship, and USL League One. 2021 marks the 11th consecutive season that Tucson has held a MLS preseason event.

Participating teams in this year's preseason scrimmages include the Colorado Rapids, LA Galaxy, Portland Timbers, Real Salt Lake, Sporting Kansas City, Phoenix Rising FC, El Paso Locomotive FC, LA Galaxy II, and New Mexico United. The 2021 Visit Tucson Sun Cup will consist of the Colorado Rapids, LA Galaxy, Real Salt Lake, Sporting Kansas City, and Phoenix Rising FC, who played 2nd in the 2020 Visit Tucson Sun Cup.

Due to health and safety regulations, media and limited fan attendance are soon to be determined.
