Monday, October 30, 2017 -- We watched some high scoring games in the Phoenix Rising FC Arizona Premier League this past weekend. Below are recaps for Blackhawks 00/09 Girls vs Fort LowellSV 99G and SC del Sol 01 Boys vs Legacy 02/01 Red Boys.

Girls
Blackhawks 00/99 Girls vs Fort Lowell SV 99G

For as well as the Blackhawks 00/99 Girls have played this season, they still needed points against Fort Lowell SV 99G on Sunday afternoon.
Blackhawks wasted no time and scored three goals in the first 15 minutes of play. The first was when a shot by took a deflection off a Fort Lowell defender in the box and found a way into the back of the net, the second was an unfortunate own goal, and the third was right after this.
Fort Lowell looked to have a goal back in the 21st minute but a shot on the edge of the box was blocked by two Blackhawks defenders. Blackhawks did add one more goal in the first half scoring in the 27th minute.
Blackhawks added a fifth goal in the 48th minute. Three minutes after that, Fort Lowell scored their lone goal when #8 turned a defender and fired a shot over the goalkeepers head from 25 yards out. Blackhawks added three more goals after this in the 70th minute, in the 78th minute, and in the 85th minute.
Blackhawks are now first in their group with a 7-1-1 record. Their next match won't be until March 17, 2018, when they face Phoenix Rush 99 Girls. Fort Lowell will look to bounce back next weekend when they take on Phoenix Rush.
Boys
SC del Sol 01 Boys vs Legacy 02/01 Boys

After picking up a big win the night before, SC del Sol needed another victory to secure first place in the group.
SC del Sol score their first in the 9th minute. Legacy, unfortunately, conceded two penalties. The first in the 21st minute and the second in the 25th minute.
Legacy then stormed back and almost added a goal in the 36th minute, but a heads-up play by an SC del Sol defender saw him clear the ball off the line.
Both sides traded shots after the halftime break and the next goal was scored by SC del Sol in the 58th minute. SC del Sol added a fifth goal moments after this and the sixth goal for SC del Sol was scored in the 70th minute.
Two minutes after this, Legacy scored their first when #6 created the chance and #9 finished. SC del Sol scored their final goal in the 85th minute.
SC del Sol is now first in their group with a 5-2-1 record. Their next match won't be until March 10, 2018, when they face Valparaiso United FC Boys JG. Legacy's next match will also be next year when they face FC Bravo.
