A highly anticipated match between group leaders Scottsdale Soccer and second place Arizona Arsenal ended in a 1-1 draw on Saturday afternoon.
Scottsdale Soccer scored just seconds into the match when Saige Graulich, unmarked, collected a cross at the top of the box and finished far post.
Arizona Arsenal scored the equalizer in the 28th minute off of a corner when Ella Malee volleyed the ball out of mid-air and into the back of the net.
Chances were limited to a handful of shots throughout the second half for both sides and stellar goalkeeping prevented any go-ahead goals.
The next match for both sides will take place in 2018 as Blackhawks will face Arizona AZSC Thunder and Arizona Arsenal will square off against CCV Stars on January 20.
