Tuesday, October 9th, 2018 -- Back in May it was announced that Phoenix was one of 13 cities selected to host a 2019 CONCACAF Gold Cup match and today, CONCACAF announced all the venues for the top seeds and knockout rounds.
State Farm Stadium was only selected to host one match, but it will be a big one. On July 2, the stadium will host one of the semifinal matches which means there is a good chance Mexico or the U.S. Men's National Team (USMNT) will be in the building.
This is the second Gold Cup in a row in which State Farm Stadium will host a knockout round match. At the 2017 Gold Cup, the stadium hosted Jamaica vs Canada and Mexico vs Panama in the quarterfinals.
USA fans looking to catch the USMNT during the group stage will have to travel to the Midwest as the USMNT will play in Saint Paul, Minnesota on July 18, Cleveland, Ohio on June 22, and Kansas City, Kansas on June 26.
Mexico fans won't have to travel far from Arizona for their first two matches. Mexico will play in the Rose Bowl on June 15, Denver on June 19, and Charlotte, North Carolina on June 23.
