
Friday, November 8th, 2019 - The Arizona State Referee Association (ASRA), Arizona State Soccer Association (ASSA), and Arizona Soccer Association (ASA) are excited to announce that Todd Sergi (center in photo) has been appointed as the new State Referee Administrator (SRA) effective November 4, 2019.
Sergi's appointment comes following Tim Beeler's resignation. Beeler previously served as the State Referee Administrator for the previous six years providing outstanding service to all referees throughout Arizona. Sergi's selection brings him back to the State Referee Committee after spending the last few year's pursuing professional opportunities.
Sergi is an Emeritus Regional Referee and a provisional Regional Referee coach. Previously, he served as the State Youth Referee Administrator (SYRA) for the Arizona Soccer Association from 2015 – 2019 and Region IV First Vice Chair for US Youth Soccer from 2016 – 2017. He currently serves as a Board Member for Phoenix Rising FC Youth Soccer since 2014, and a member of the Local Advisory Board and Speakers Bureau for Feed My Starving Children since 2010.
“I am looking forward to working with Todd to better develop and advance referees for the adult game,” said Dan Trainor, President Arizona State Soccer Association. “Together we hope to increase membership and advancement opportunities for all levels of referees.”
