    MaxInMotion Scholarship

    1st Generation Higher Education Opportunity

    The Arizona Soccer Association (ASA), in partnership with its charitable arm, the Arizona Soccer Foundation, is pleased to offer scholarships to support post-high school education.

    These scholarships are exclusively for families registered to play within ASA and support first-generation students pursuing higher education.

    Application deadline: March 31

    Award recipients will be announced in May.

    Application Requirements

    • Be a first-generation student aspiring to pursue higher education.
    • Have attended an Arizona high school or institution for at least two years and graduated with a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.
    • Have an annual household income of $72,000 or less.
    • Have played with an Arizona Soccer Association member organization at any level, including recreational or competitive soccer.

    The Scholarship Award

    • $1,500 per year, distributed as $750 per semester, for a maximum of two years.
    • Funds may be used for expenses associated with higher education, including tuition, books, fees, housing, and other education-related costs.

    First-Year Eligibility

    • Must be considered a full-time student.
    • Maintain a GPA of 2.0 or higher.

    Second-Year Renewal

    • The scholarship is renewable for the second year only at $1,500 ($750 per semester).
    • Must be considered a full-time student.
    • Maintain a GPA of 2.0 or higher.

    Community Service & Extracurricular Activities

    Community service is not mandatory. However, extracurricular activities may be considered when making scholarship award decisions.
