2026-2027 Season
National 1 League is a new team based national league that brings together US Club’s National Premier Leagues (NPL) and US Youth Soccer’s National League (NL) totaling approximately 10,000 teams and 150,000 players. National 1 League is a joint effort by US Club Soccer and US Youth Soccer in collaboration with U.S. Soccer. National 1 League will be the highest-level team-based league in the country for U13-U19. National 1 League will take the place of US Youth’s National League and US Club’s NPL leagues and hold its inaugural season in the 2026-2027 seasonal year.
*A team-based league is a competitive structure where individual teams qualify and participate based on their own merit, rather than on behalf of a club or because they belong to a certain club.
The Arizona Advanced League competition structure may include up to three statewide divisions for U11-U19: Arizona Premier League (APL), Arizona State League 1 (AS1), and Arizona State League 2 (ASL 2). The N1 team-based division operates above the APL as the highest competitive tier within the pathway. Registration for the N1 will be administered through US Club Soccer and operated by the Arizona Soccer Association.
