This page outlines what to expect when using FairWhistle to complete Arizona Soccer Association (ASA) post-game reports. Please take a moment to review the Coach and Official Overview pages above, where you’ll find assessment tutorial videos, step-by-step platform walkthroughs, and answers to frequently asked questions.

    FairWhistle Overview for Coaches
    FairWhistle Overview for Officials

    Navigating the Platform

    1. Confirm Your Account and Set Up Your Password

Before your first match, you will receive an email from FairWhistle at gary@fairwhistle.com. Follow the link in that email to confirm your account and create your password

Important: Survey emails will also come from gary@fairwhistle.com. We recommend adding this address to your safe sender list before your first match to help prevent these emails from going to your spam folder. If you do not receive your account activation email or a post-match survey, check your spam folder and mark the message as “not spam.” If the email is not in your inbox, spam, or junk folders, please contact FairWhistle for assistance.

    2. 48-Hour Rule

After each match, you will receive a survey by email that must be submitted within 48 hours. Complete the assessment by clicking the link in the email or logging in to your account. The system tracks each assessment and sends reminder emails when it has not been completed. Let’s work together to achieve 100% compliance!

    3. Survey Recipients

Coaches: Teams may have multiple contacts in FairWhistle. Coaches can complete surveys by logging in or using the secure link emailed after the match. Each recipient has the opportunity to submit an assessment on behalf of the team, but only one person needs to complete it for each match. Once someone begins the assessment, the other links are disabled to ensure that only one survey is completed per match.

Officials: A post-match survey link will be emailed to the center referee after each match. Please huddle with the entire officiating crew to ensure everyone’s feedback is included.

    4. Feedback and Key Incidents

You will have the opportunity to provide feedback and submit Key Incidents. Please include as much detail as possible in your assessments so the information can help drive change and provide us with valuable context. There are two important distinctions:

Feedback Comment – A feedback comment documents information you would like to share, whether positive or constructive. All submitted feedback is reviewed and used for educational purposes; however, you will not receive a response to feedback comments within the app.

Key Incident – A key incident describes an incident you would like reviewed and for which you would like a response, such as a disputed call, missed call, or league compliance concern. Feedback you submit can also be converted into a key incident.

When an incident is submitted through FairWhistle’s Key Incident Workflow, the league is notified. When the league responds to your submission, you will receive an email prompting you to log in and view the comments. Once a resolution is reached, the incident will be marked “resolved.”
