Grand Canyon University Student Scholarship
The Arizona Soccer Foundation – Grand Canyon University “GO Lopes” Student Scholarship supports eligible Arizona Soccer Association members as they pursue higher education at GCU in Fall 2026.
Scholarship Overview
Arizona Soccer Association members and eligible ASA families are encouraged to apply for this scholarship opportunity as they plan for their academic future. This scholarship was created to support students in their pursuit of higher education and to help further opportunities beyond the game.
Awarded for one year, nonrenewable. The award is distributed as $3,750 per semester and may be used for higher education expenses, including tuition, books, fees, housing, and more.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must:
- Intend to enroll full-time and attend Grand Canyon University in Fall 2026.
- Have attended an Arizona high school or institution for two or more years.
- Graduate with a 3.3 or higher cumulative GPA.
- Have played with an Arizona Soccer Association member organization at any level, including recreational or competitive soccer.
- Provide at least two letters of recommendation from teachers, coaches, or other non-family members.
Additional Considerations
While not required, scholarship decisions may also be influenced by the applicant’s extracurricular activities, sportsmanship, and citizenship.
